Catholic institutions like our school are guided by the noble vision that education must
aim at virtue along with knowledge. Knowledge may make us proud and puffed up while
virtue make us humble, considerate and compassionate. However this lofty ideal of
education can be achieved only if the management, the staff and the students cherish
them and work in collaboration for their realization.
We want to inculcate in the minds of our students the lofty-mission of "service in
charity". Charity is true nobility and it is the quintessence of the character of a gentleman
who is defined by Cardinal Newman as one who inflicts the least pain upon others. Let us
build up a culture of charity in the midst of the "culture of death" which is imposing itself
on humanity in the modern world.
